Life for children can be pretty full on with running between schools, extracurricular activities, homework and everything we squeeze into our days. And for some children these pressures are leading to low levels of confidence and resilience.
Katie McCray is a Wellbeing Teacher and Coach who focuses on helping children to gain the most important life skills for happiness.
Her tips for supporting your child to be confident and resilient:
1. Encourage the children to explore and describe how they are feeling
2. Show the children how to deal with difficult situations by sharing your own stories and responses
3. Take the time to connect and just BE with the child
